Tampin Hainan AhDa Satay is a must-visit satay restaurant nestled in the heart of Kampung Tampin, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Specializing in authentic Hainan pork satay, this hidden gem serves succulent, marinated skewers that are grilled to smoky perfection. Each bite delivers a harmonious blend of tender, juicy pork with a slightly charred, caramelized exterior that truly tantalizes the taste buds.
What sets Tampin Hainan AhDa Satay apart is their signature peanut sauce – rich, creamy, and generously slathered over every skewer, creating a burst of flavor that complements the smoky meat flawlessly. Customers often rave about the affordable price of RM 0.70 per satay, making it an irresistible treat without breaking the bank.
Beyond satay, their fried kway teow is not to be missed. Cooked to order with the perfect wok hei (breath of the wok), this stir-fried flat noodle dish is infused with subtle smoky notes and a touch of the restaurant's unique satay sauce, offering a delicious twist on a local classic. It’s a perfect companion dish, completing the meal with savory depth and satisfying textures.
The atmosphere at Tampin Hainan AhDa Satay is warm and inviting — a casual late-night haunt where locals and travelers alike gather to indulge in soulful, comforting food. The friendly and “funny yet kind” boss adds to the charm, making diners feel truly welcomed and part of the experience. Be sure to arrive early, as the satay tends to sell out fast due to its immense popularity.
Whether you’re winding down after a day exploring nearby Gadek Hot Springs or simply seeking a flavorful supper, Tampin Hainan AhDa Satay offers an authentic taste of Negeri Sembilan’s culinary heritage. It’s the perfect blend of tradition, passion, and community that leaves a memorable impression long after the last skewer is savored.

This midnight hangout in Tampin town used to start business at 12 midnight. It has been start business earlier from 10.30 pm these day. So we've missed the sate (SOLD OUT!!!), but we still managed to grab a plate of their famous Char Kuey Teow! The owners are friendly ;) A must visit place for supper after relaxing Gadek Hot Springs nearby.
